个人点评：这是时隔三年后Alizée的个人第4张专辑。依然走电子路线，背景音乐依旧迷幻，只是当妈都好几年了的她，唱歌的风格阴下来了，轻柔了很多，不知是不是生活的磨砺的缘故。孩子不好带啊，钱不好挣了，浪漫满屋也渐趋平淡了啊（结婚了的人哪里还会有那么多浪漫好去创造和总结呢？），于是，我直觉上会想已是成熟女人或者说美艳少瑞脑消金兽妇的Alizée，虽然声音变化不大，但毕竟已经不是十几岁就出道在台上用青春和性感征服万千少男少女之心的她了。如果不改变一直延续下来的个人风格，她的音乐会让人日益觉得如同嚼蜡。也许我说这话有点过分，但这是我关于此时我耳边的音乐的真实想法。我本非她的粉丝，她唱La Islabonita的LIVE几年前红遍中国网络的时候，我也没觉得那段舞蹈就跳得迷人至极。但是我确实很喜欢她那张处子专辑《Gourmandises》，我非常喜欢她那首“Moi ... Lolita”，我还极其中意她那首“I'm not twenty”。只是，现在我们不仅不是20岁未满，反而都不再只是20岁了，连我都已20好几。Alizée式的迷离电音，还能伴着你我多久？大家自己去感受吧。

"Through The Window" is Saycet’s second LP, after "One Day At Home", released in 2006. At first sight, there’s a change in Pierre Lefeuvre’s project. A new perspective. Saycet is the project of Pierre Lefeuvre, a french music composer hailing from Paris who cut his teeth listening to Boards of Canada and Múm. His first solo Album entitled One Day at Home resulted in nine atmospherical tracks, evoking abstract landscapes and fairy tales for adults from song to song.
Warmly acclaimed by the critics (One Day at Home has received special attention from the national press, notably from the printed media references TRAX and Les Inrockuptibles), Saycet’s first full-length has managed to capture the frailties of a lifetime. Both fleecy and tensed, elusive and introspective, the songs that compose One Day At Home sublimate melancholy and solitude. Saycet’s music is an invitation to daydreaming and would perfectly lend itself to the soundtrack of a contemplative walk.
Now joined by vocalist Phoene Somsavath who brought her delicate signature, Saycet embraces vivid arrangements and crafts a brand of experimental pop. With discrete vocal samples that breeze in and vanish, waltzing melodies, layered keyboards and detailed electronics, Saycet takes the listener on a timeless journey. The one-year-long collaboration has given birth to a second album to be released the forthcoming year.
As a live act, Saycet is also comprised of VJ Zita Cochet, whose video projections emphasize the cinematic aspect of their music. The images are colourful shapes and shades, brights lights fading out playing hide-and-seek with the melodies, and underline the poetry of their universe.
Like a cocoon we feel comfortable enough within to let our emotions soar and our imagination wander, Saycet is on track to become a safe bet amongst the most captivating acts of this year.

我心中的2010年度最佳唱片之一。来自巴黎的电子乐队“Saycet”实际上是一个名叫Pierre Lefeuvre的小伙的个人项目。上一张专辑《One Day At Home》是他的处子秀，水准很高，听着非常舒服，是那年梦幻轻柔类电子氛围音乐的佳作之一，没想到今年的这张《Through The Window》再接再厉进一步展现了他创作的功力，不论是纯旋律的还是有人声的，有层次感的键盘伴奏和微风拂面般的音效波纹一圈圈漾开后引起的舒适惬意，相当地让我的身心放松受益。这种造梦的音乐即使在白天听着也会惹人神思涣散，肉体和灵魂都会随着音符飘然不知所踪。值得一提的是本张专辑里的女声尤其让人耳旁一颤，有似曾相识之感，一查却发现竟是位名不见经传的亚裔人士(名叫Phoene Somsavath)。我期待着有她参与的Saycet的第三张专辑。

因为一部独立影片的缘故，这两个月来我和兰州本地的一帮子70后们走得很近。从导演到副导演，从文字统筹到演员，剧组成员们几乎要大我年龄一圈，但大家都很和善，平易近人，好打交道得很。韩松落是其中气质较儒雅的一位老兄，戴着副黑框眼镜，声音挺有磁性，说话也斯斯文文。今晚逛着他的个人音乐页面，无意中听到这首“和田小夜曲”，甚为欣赏，相当喜欢。而一想到这哥们平日里和我们一起喝酒喧哗、大家不时地拿他开涮的情景，又不由得忍俊不禁。一起聚会时，我虽身在现场，但更多的时候只是在观察和欣赏（我觉得我并不具备参与的知识储备和相关的人生阅历之经验）。他们喝酒时常会扯上世界范围内各大不知名的文艺片儿类型片儿的导演们，以及很多我从未听说过的作家名、作品名，一旦涉及到有争论性的话题，他们总会有激烈的辩论，面红耳赤亦不罢休，直到酒喝干了菜吃光了瓜子嗑完了，终于倦了方才停歇。每当气氛正HIGH时，我总会忐忑得很，因为自己的眼界太窄，思维太狭隘，同时伴有一种恍如隔世之感：这些诗情画意的人们，生活在如此浮躁的时代，融聚起这样如梦似幻的场景，而我在一旁体味着我和他们共有的年轻。

    4年的等待值得。前几天发布的新专辑。一路听下来，反复听了两三遍，确定是一如既往的高水准，四星半到五星之间，结论为四星半高度推荐。
    极其喜欢最后一首：“You Stopped Making Sense”（毫无疑问的年度最佳单曲之一）。正如下文中的外国朋友所言：这首歌集合了The Radio Dept. 最美好的、最典型的一切元素。一点点的伤感，贯穿于一波又一波的梦幻，即便只是给予一点点的时间和空间，仍让人懵懂恍然，在迷离中进入临时性的精神错乱，当你清醒过来时才发现，美好的事物往往持续得那么短暂。

　　Yes, you are reading this correctly. The Radio Dept.’s newest album is finally here. You can hold it in your hands. You can actually listen to it. Honestly I can’t believe it myself. Four years is a long wait for anything and that is how long it has been since the band released their last full length. Clinging To A Scheme’s final (and somewhat excruciating) release has been a test of any fan’s patience. 2006 was a great year for the band not only seeing the release of the sublime Pet Grief but also with three of their songs featured on the soundtrack for Marie Antoinette. Then: two years of waiting and silence. But after the release of the Freddie and the Trojan Horse EP in the summer of 2008 a September release for the new album was announced and then pushed back. In June of 2009 the band put out the single for “David” with still no solid word on when the hell the new album would be releasing. Yet finally in January word came from the band itself that Clinging would come out in March. Yeah, obviously that didn’t hold. Regardless, here I am, having listened to the album and now reviewing it for you. I still find it hard to believe.
　　
　　I apologize if this small history lesson feels not only boring but unimportant, however, in the scope of my review it is important to keep in mind. Because if you are a fan like me there is absolutely no doubt that you are going to listen to the album but you are also going to wonder if the wait has been worth it. For the most part the answer to that question is yes. With only ten tracks and about thirty five minutes the album is on the short side but the songs here are quality.
　　
　　The title Clinging To A Scheme works because over the course of their decade-plus as a band The Radio Dept. have hardly changed their style. They haven’t had to. This is chock full of those moments that made Pet Grief so wonderful. Dream pop and fuzzy vocals have been around for awhile but the band quickly perfected their own niche of sound with these elements and more. Opener “Domestic Scene” is reminiscent of that hushed beauty that stole my ears when I first heard Pet Grief’s opener “It’s Personal.” In the space of two and a half minutes you realize that the band still knows what is going on and what its strengths are. Track two is the obvious single “Heaven’s On Fire” which reflects what the band was doing when they released “David”. Both tracks are luscious pop numbers interlaced with some nicely executed moments of jazz instrumentation.
　　
　　At first I was very untrustworthy of the album because of how attached I am to everything the band has already done. Cautious because I wasn’t sure how to feel about being tugged around for so long to only wait for ten tracks to be pressed on an album and then sent out in the world. My first listen I was overly critical, enjoying the album almost stubbornly. Continuous listens were also pleasant but I wanted more than to just be pleased—I wanted to be blown away. Somewhere along the course of this album and during one of my many listens I found a specific moment where I understood its similar brilliance to everything else the band had done before. “Four Months In The Shade” is just shy of two minutes, it is an instrumental, it is the second to last track, and it is also wonderful. The song made me realize that even given such a small space of time the band is able to deliver.
　　
　　For me it is hard to pick out a truly “weak” track from the bundle but I would say that both “The Video Dept.” and “Memory Loss” hit me the least. Both songs possess a pacing that does fit with the greater scheme of the whole album but paired together throw me off for some reason. The former does contain that rough gloss that made Lesser Matters such a hazy wonder while the latter features some emotional and well crafted lyrical work.
　　
　　After a long enough gestation period, however, I feel that the true standout of this album will be in its closer “You Stopped Making Sense.” This song pieces together not only all the elements of the whole album but elements throughout the band’s career. The Radio Dept. has moments where their music is so somber yet the lyrics give way to this scene of sadness and heartbreak. Often singer Johan Duncanson’s voice is near spoken; plainly delivering a stream of lyrics that weigh heavy on the heart. “You Stopped Making Sense” is a microcosm of that sound—the sound that I love. Yeah, it’s sad-ish but damn if it isn’t completely beautiful.
　　
　　I can’t help but admit that I wanted more from this album. Not necessarily more quality just more songs; more to soak up. Even in short bursts the band has always remained incredible. Maybe the selection process was a little too picky and the band left off some great songs that could have been added. I’m sure many like me would take about anything they could but are probably going to have to wait for an eventual b-side. Clinging To A Scheme is great. It isn’t a band at their worst or at their best. It is The Radio Dept. doing what they have been doing for so long and that is making not just solid music but a lush sound that hits you deeply. Now we just have to hope that the wait for something new isn’t too long.

　　»In 2008, I reached a point at which I was no longer able to find any satisfaction in my career. I felt that, since the decision I had taken seven years earlier to make music my profession, I had seldom been successful in expressing genuine emotion in concerts or studio recordings. I felt myself to be constricted in a corset of perfectionism and conventions – partly self-inflicted, partly dictated by outsiders. Retrospectively, I realized that a large part of what I had achieved on stage and in the studio had been only a rudimentary excerpt of my feelings, that the channel to my soul felt as if it had been obstructed in such recordings and live performances. It was a series of cathartic and at the same time traumatic experiences – including my encounter with a Japanese woman called Nana in Tokyo in November 2008 – that heralded for me what I call the »decomposing mode«: in order to »survive«, I started to destroy all the suffocating elements in my environment – I liberated myself from narcissistic demands, stopped shaving, wore jogging pants as everyday clothing, distanced myself from women, even from the idea of finding true love one day. I began to make street music again, or rather, to »meditate publicly«, up to six hours at a time, just singing if no one was specifically listening to me – for this was the only way to keep open the path to my soul. And eventually, I began to record my new songs at home, shortly after composing them, using the simplest equipment (often only one room microphone). Exposed to all the street noise and »dirt«. Holding on to the moment of inspiration. My soul, my pure emotions immortalised on tape. All rational processes that before had deadened and delayed my feeling – such as arranging, determining the instrumentation, writing succinct lyrics (the lyrics on the album derive largely from a stream of consciousness emanating directly from my heart, improvised at the moment of recording) and finally the professional recording – these were eliminated. Just the essence remains: the pure emotion, the pure, artistic innocence.«

    听完3遍，直觉自己神色已凝重得不行。若真认为听着这样的音乐会让人“Walking With Happiness”，那就太一厢情愿了。最好的悲观主义者会创作出让人极度愉悦的调子么？他们分明是要让你沉陷到往事的那些不堪回首中去。虽然“I Just Want To Be Your Everything”的口号喊得很坚决，我却听得心儿不住地微微直颤：你的一切不应该是我大概也不会是我。同时，脑海里有个声音对我说：你坚强，我脆弱；你决绝，我懦弱。于是，仿佛就这样看到我的心脏如同被击中的玻璃镜面，纷纷碎裂，四散开来，一片一片，逐渐消逝不见。
　　
　　反复地播放着“I Just Want To Be Your Everything”，暗自嘲笑自己真是有点精神病。对于感情，我早已没有困惑，因为不管你如何求解如何质疑，它总是与理性无关，自成一体。人之所以为人，也许是因为人类总会面临着复杂的爱情、亲情、友情，说到底，人无情则不成其为人。而这些复杂的情感并非完全可控，既然如此，自然也就不自觉地进入了一种主动的消极回避：不再发问，不再纠结，不再反省。
　　
　　友人说谈恋爱就像是走平衡木，他自认没有能力走好它，所以只能尽量小心翼翼，全神贯注。几年前的我以为我兴许可以边走边看风景，此时回想起来真是天真幼稚得不行。为了不让所有的参与者都摔得太惨烈，有当事人及时主动地退出了那部如果继续下去将很可能会是场悲剧的影片，而自从落幕的那时算起，这一晃就已是好几年。几年过去了，她有意无意地告诉我：她现在听得最多的歌手是林志炫，听得最多的歌曲是“离人”，而我心里一顿，接着平静地告诉她：你不会一直一个人走的，要相信。
　　
　　弗洛姆说：如果我确实爱一个人，那么我也爱其他的人，我就会爱世界、爱生活。如果我能对一个人说“我爱你”，我也应该可以说：“我在你身上爱所有的人，爱世界，也爱我自己。”
　　这不是滥情和滥交的借口，而恰恰是提醒着人们：要专一，要忠诚，要珍惜当下和目前的所有。虽然整体上我的一切都那么稳定，心绪，情感，行为，思想，物质保障，精神质量。可我总会在习惯中偶尔打破一些习惯，在淡然中遭遇一些突然，我是那么地确信丰富和波澜的必要，且总认为只要保留底线，人会多么善于原谅甚至宽恕自己。写到这儿，我惊奇地发现我竟用了“宽恕”这么一个宗教性很强的词，可是，我是罪人么？我有罪么？
　　
　　我不会继续追问下去了。我给我的思想装上刹车，情感上亦然（当然我不指望一下子可以把刹车踩死把车停住）。半年前我换了我的QQ签名：我没有时间去恨，我只有时间去爱。我希望这种信念能伴随我的终身，直到我弥留之际，然后，安静地闭上我的眼睛。

    由衷地祝福我的前任亦即我的第一位女朋友与其老公婚姻美满，百年好合，白头偕老。

Chemical Generation，本来是用来形容那帮作家的，我却以为，形容我们也未尝不可。你抽烟么？你喝酒么？你…嗑药么？

在我还小的时候，抽烟喝酒是大人们干的事，小孩要是抽烟喝酒，一定是非常不好的行为。我的亲身经历告诉我：小孩抽烟是绝对不被允许的。尽管那时我只是跟着一帮邻居家的孩子们躲到山上的草丛中叭了几根烟，当事情由于其中某位小朋友的口袋里残留的烟盒子在洗衣服时被他妈发现而暴露之后，所有参与了聚众抽烟的小孩们，无一例外地要么被毒打了一顿，要么像我一样被狠狠地训斥到眼泪巴巴的，再也不敢有下次。直到上了大学，出于酒局饭局上个人形象的需要，我才终于又接过了朋友开出来的一到两根烟，装腔作势地吸几口，又吐几口。24岁前的我，压根是不会抽烟，也不喜欢抽烟的。不过后来有些事情还是自然而然地改变了，比如抽烟不会再被长辈们打骂，比如不会再认为抽烟的人就是品性不良的，而且，当我在家族聚会上当着众亲友的面从叔叔的烟盒里抽出一支“和天下”，自己给自己点上，悠然自得地品味和感受时，连奶奶都笑着说：嗯，很好，男子汉大丈夫，什么都要会一点儿。
可怜在二手烟中陶冶了二十几年的我啊，我爸是个抽烟很凶的人，每天两包，也许我早就具备成为烟民的上佳资质了。

至于喝酒，我是喝酒上脸的人，即使是一杯啤酒，一口下去我的脸也会微红起来。我的酒量不怎么好，也不怎么好酒，除了大学毕业吃散伙饭那次，至今被喝吐的境况场合都很匪夷所思，而喝醉后的我也从未干过什么傻事，喝醉的我，总是静静地一个人就地睡倒，绝对不会伤害到他人，一如我大致温和的性格。我知道我是有过一些酒后多言的事例的，虽然没有给自己带来什么不良的影响，但我知道越是在喝酒的场合，就越要注意控制自己的嘴巴，否则，真的很容易一不小心就胡说八道，碰到不较真的人还好，遇上较真的，我就只能叫苦不迭了。所以还是少喝酒，少说话吧，微醺的状态最好。

进入二十一世纪，大城市的迪厅夜场或者说酒吧里嗑药的现象不知怎么的就十分严重了。软性毒薄雾浓云愁永昼品的泛滥有其深刻的社会原因，我不愿多谈，大家也心知肚明。我只是认为人活着有很多事情可以去尝试，有些事情却是一定不要去尝试的。我曾经历过一些让我差点就嗑药的场合，但我最终没有参与进去，不管旁人出于与人同乐的好心还是刻意地推荐，我坚决地拒绝，并冷眼旁观，因为我对人的自控力既很乐观又很悲观。但，不经意间闻到的飞叶子的香味确实让我印象深刻。

用化学元素对神经系统进行刺激，以让人的精神状态达到某种超出平常的境界，有时想想人活着多可怜啊，总想在某些时候脱离自我，或者做一回真正的自我。看别人看不真切，便想真切地看看自己，却发现很多时候连自己也看不真切。
音乐也可以是一种化学范畴内的东西，随着音符的悠扬和节奏的律动进入脑海，脑细胞和听觉神经的律动达到合一了，和谐了，于是人的想象力开始奔放了，心绪开始暴躁或者安定了，眼前仿佛浮现出另一个世界。有时，你真想躲到这样的世界里去再也不想动弹，一个人戴着耳机老老实实地待着，觉得这样也挺温暖的。
至此，随着耳机里的声响敲打着键盘早已不知所云的我终于明白，《Love Songs for the Chemical Generation》是一张如此温暖的冬日情歌专辑。无法回避主唱Daniel Land精致无比的嗓音、人声之后一阵又一阵延绵不绝的梦幻音场和失真吉他堆砌起来的美妙音墙，不管怎样，在耳旁的这片天地里我再也找不到起初需要辨明的方向，不知不觉间迷失，陷入多多少少的孤芳自赏。
只是，有件事实只有我自己知道：在听它的时候，我是多么想你。
